Christmas movie discourse
Dec. 25th, 2018 11:00 amI have been following the disk horse about Die Hard as a Christmas movie for several years. Now, I have never actually watched Die Hard all the way through. I have probably watched all of it, just not at one time.
So, my son comes barging into my room at 1:00 this morning, while we are wrapping presents for his younger siblings (he is 21) and asks "Is Die Hard a Christmas Movie?" So, I told him the thought that has been on my mind for a while. If Die Hard is a Christmas movie, so is Lethal Weapon. LW starts at a Christmas tree farm. It has a Christmas song in it. It is more a Christmas movie than DH.
In other pop culture news, I showed my husband the Google Home/Home Alone commercial. His phone stopped and the Google assistant on his phone popped open when Macauley Culkin said "OK Google". I thought that was hilarious.
